St. Patrick’s Day Resolution January 1st? or March 17th?
As we rapidly approach the end of January 2008(can you believe it?) I am making the same observations I make every year. The Gym is packed, you have to wait to get on the weights and forget about your favorite treadmill. The health food store can’t keep the latest vitamins and diet products on their shelves. Goal sheets and business plans are still out on desks and even getting checked off.
What I see next, is that by Valentine’s Day, just two short weeks away, all of the above is gone. The gym is nice and open except for the “true” regulars. The pills and potions are collecting dust on bed stands and goal sheets are tucked tightly in binders or locked in computer files.
Solution to this stagnant cycle? Join me in making your St. Patrick’s Day Resolutions. It’s not too late for 2008 and you can then use this model from here on out. (Look out 2009 and the year of the Space Odyssey 2010). Do whatever it takes and stick to your guns until at least March 17th. At this point, the progressive and supportive actions have become the rule rather than the exception. At this point, you have shown that you can change and transform your body at up to 2 pounds a month, that’s 6 pounds in three months, 36 for the year. Those supplements, well hey, don’t start with 10 bottles, get some professional advice on what one or two would most help support a healthier you. By March you will have been through a full bottle and felt the improved rest, digestion, energy, concentration that it is designed to help. Lastly and more importantly, those goals will be in motion by March 17th, creating success at work and at home. Little ones to build on daily and big ones to launch you dreams upon. See you on the big green day with the luck of the Irish.
All the best,
