Drink your way to Health
I have recently seen a rash of patients with problems they either have never had or haven't had in years. It is not all the same problem either, it ranges from bad backs, to increased allergy problems, to poor sleep or aching joints. The bottom line is folks are not getting enough good old water in this hot, hot summer. Even my good water drinkers, of which I count myself, are just a bit behind and suffering the consequences. Get off the symptom train and take the cheap easy step to wellness, DRINK MORE PLAIN WATER.
Steps to making it easy:
1. Keep a bottle in your car, at your desk, near where you watch TV and on your nightstand
2. Don't be so uptight as to not just stick your head under the ol' tap at the sink(St. Louis water was just voted best tasting city water in the US)
3. Start by drinking the same amount of water as you do any other liquid, then start substituting water for the coffee, tea and soda.
Give yourself a conscious 2 week effort with this it will become a lifestyle choice verses a chore. You will feel better, move more easily, sleep more soundly and have less "mysterious" symptoms with your well being.
As always, please check with Dr. Lynch or your other personal physician on how to integrate this advice into your daily routine and to meet your individual health concerns.
all the best
